day 12 - theatre and fountains
late last night about 12 of us excluding jeremy, squeezed into jeremy's room to celebrate his birthday.
haha. i think he should have enjoyed it alot. sarah anne went through a lot to get him the cake and stuff.. then was also told off by paul (the hostel keeper) because we were making too much noise and there weren't supposed to be any girls in guys dorms and guys in girls dorms. so in the end paul said we could continue celebrating only if sarah anne was with us. so quite cool la.
gerald and jason smashed the oh so delicious cake into jeremy's face which also unfortuntely went up his nose. and on the carpet. and all over the place. so they had a hard time cleaning it up after that.
today, we had culture followed by adverts.
we went shopping for adverts class.
quite cool. bought a shirt and a wallet.
i got a disposable cam as well.
*mummy, tell daddy that the digital cam's not working (since the 3rd day here i think) yeah. i didn't drop it or anything. batteries are good. just didn't work for some weird reason so if you guys wanna take pictures here then bring along m cam and charger.
because the adverts group was doing so much shopping, we had to rush back for science faculty. and we took the wrong tram. so we were late for faculty of science. furthermore, we had to use the loo before going in for fos so by the time we sat down for the lecture, the guy just talked for about 2 minutes then said "okae, so before i let you go to your.... wonderful theatre, does anyone have any questions?"
the the adverts ppl were super stunned and we laughed in disbelief at the same time, though sitting at different places far from each other. haha.
it was so scary/funny/weird/hilarious/freaky?
well the play was really good. it was like a musical also la.. we watched "end of the rainbow"..
hahaha.. it was sick to some extent la.
but i enjoyed it.
after that, i followed joe's group to the crown cause his group wanted to play lazer wars.
jane and i went to shop though.
then when we were at macdonalds, there was this group of ang mo teen guys in front of us who had the f word in every sentence that came out of their mouth.
then suddenly one of the guys came to me and said "hey you stole 5 bucks from me"
damn scary. so so so scared.
didn't know what to do.
then his friend turned to me and told me not to worry about him cause he was just being an asshead.
phew.
haha. i was really scared after that.
on the way back to college, we walked by the river then there were these colourful fountains that just sprouted out from the ground. then cas, robert and i ran through the fountains with our arms linked together.
haha. it was so fun. but the cold night wind was blowing.
bah. so i got a shirt from andrew cause he was wearing two layers.
know whow cool his shirt is on me?
cause it's striped and huge and baggy on me PLUS, i was wearing a tie.
how cool.
haha.
