day 5 continued

melbourne discovery?
discover the four seasons of melbourne in one day!

it poured like crazy after we walked all the way to dominos and bought our pizza.
well actually the rain came down when we were eating at the nearby park.
it got so so cold because it wasn't just the low emperature.. there was also WIND. chilly wind.
and i didn't have a jacket. how smart eh?
went to seek shelter at the bus stop while the rest hid under the tree.. some saw me at the bus stop and came over.. haha. then everyone came. we quickly boarded the next tram that came along.. which took quite a long time.
all the running across the road and hiding under the tree in the rain really caused us to be totally drenched by the time we got on the tram.
i was quite happy about the rain.. it was quite so fun. haha.
i'm really sleepy now..
oh yeah you know what? i was held hostage by jeremy today the stupidest way EVER.
he held on to my dangling star earring so i could not move.
or i'd like.. tear my ear or something.
after two trams, we reached this stop from which we were gonna walk to the crown in the rain. yes, the rain hadn't stopped yet. fortunately, i was blessed with lovely friend, denise, who had an umbrella and shared it with me and casurina. casurine i mean.
it was really quite a distant we walked.. and ran.. the run was good. once we crossed under the flyover, we could see the crown so we all started running there.. across the bridge over the river. it was terrific! i'd never enjoyed running so much before. haha. i think. it was cold, but if you ran fast enough with our arms spread, you'd probably feel like rose when she was flying on the titanic. totally cool.
the crown seemed rather high end. but we went to the other side of the crown where there was this warner bros shop with this cute thing for kids to climb it..
there was this really really adorable blonde little girl hiding inside.. i took pictures with her!! i'm so gonna post it all up! haha.we also took pictures with some ang mo stranger. not hot guy haha.. but they're ll so friendly!!!!!!!
like when i say hello to random ppl in singapore sometimes when i'm feeling really happy, some of em just give the blur look. come on! i think we've got to be more open and carefree about stuff.. not so uptight and give the are-you-gonna-rob-me kinda attitude. lol.
anyway.
there was also a BEAUTIFUL christmas choir there. they were carolling in long flowing red robes in the dimmed colour-changing lighting and all the little children were just sitting in front. sarah, johnny and i joined them. well it was good. haha.
so.
we went to the arcade were they had this laserr shooting thing.
it was awesome!
i've heard of it before but never really been to one. now i have.
and i'm proud of it.
only 15 bucks for three games.
i died a few times, killed a few times too. it was quite thrilling.
haha.. i kept getting jeremy even when he was trying to sneak up on me the first round. the nan hua people were good. lol.. so was mitch. great shooter.
walked around for awhile after that.. and it was still pouring.. so we had to run again.
runa dn run and run.
in and out the rain.
haha.. so so much fun.
talked quite some but in the tram back. ook photos with this 23 year old blonde cause she was sitting beside m and mitch wanted to take a group photo of the two girls opposite me and i myself so we asked her to join us.
she's a chef. and she'd gone to canada for a year for a school trip! how cool! 12 months!
she's a chef now. pastries. yum.
oh yes, there was foundation studies graduation today.. the pre dinner drinks were at the bull padck wehre the summer school students were to meet for exploring melbourne. so when i was waiting with jane and some others, this waitress came to serve us drinks.. then some came to serve us food.. that tasted really odd.. THEN came the strawberr tarts which were terriffic because they had the bestest chocolate filling!!! we kept wanting more. and johnny that joker, even got the waitress to go over to where the rest of the summer school students were! how cool eh?
haha. anywa, i've really got to go now.
gonna check my laundry then go to bed.
