day 6 - morning lessons and queen victoria market.

hello hello!just had my lunch.
i did laundry last night. myself. for the first time.
the other time was with sarah. haha.
yup.. oh guess what.. there's this cute ang mo guy behind.. he's in the science camp and know what site he's at? you'll never wanna know. well of course you do.. so i'm gonna tell you.. it's mathworld. hahahaha.. it's jsut so weird.
like nick.. nick's a cute nerd who doesn't wear glasses and plays soccer.. he's playing rite now with jason and some others.
well yeah. i edited yesterday's post cause i missed out on some stuff while typing half asleep.
so anyway, today's first lesson.. or lecture.. known as reasoning.. was boring. well maybe not boring. but i was simply too tired.
you can look around the lecture theatre and see ppl falling asleep!
haha. it was funny. maybe it's the weather. like in sinapore, on rrainy days when it's cool.. we just wanna sleep. and now we're here, it's ALWAYS cold, so we ALWAYS wanna sleep.
lol.
second lesson was global.
each group of 4 students was given an apple.. representing a globe.
then we cut out the percentage that was land(29%) then half of the land (aprox) that was unhabited.
then we cut out a third of the remaining half of the land because it was unusable.
quite a sad case cause the remaining 2 thirds of half of 29% of the apple has to cater for all the needs of the aprox 6.4 billion ppl.
ok so enough of global.
lunch was good.
we had quiche (that how you spell it?) and chips.
oh yeah and nick? he wanted seconds.
so after he cleared his plate, he came back to our table and asked worriedl if anyone had a jacket or a shirt that he could wear over because he didn't want to be recognised.
lol.. so tya told him that we were allowed to go for seconds.
so he went.
then he came back with a plate of noodles(which tasted horrible.. but which he loved.. somehow. he should really come to singapore manx.) and a drumstick.
apparently, just as he was being served, he was told that "if your freinds want seconds, they will have to wait"
hahaha.. so hilarious.
that's about all for now i guess.
oh yes, and my card balance.. it's dropped from 18 to 9 plus?
it's bad.
cause i think i made like 3 or 4 calls at the airport when no one was there cause they we late for the pickup..then i didn't know how to use the phone.. so yeah. haha. kept calling.. and i talked to gramps as well.
lol.. mum, you can get it topped up for me if you think i need it. lol. ermz.. 8 bucks is needed for a call to be made or something rite? i can't really remember. some thing like that.
